The Comprehensive (8-hour) course goes deeper, including system setup, selection, administrative controls, and rescue planning. It’s best for workers in varied environments who need a full understanding of fall protection systems.
Any employee who performs work at height, uses fall protection equipment, or supervises those who do, should attend. Training ensures workers understand the risks and how to properly use systems to stay safe and compliant.
OSHA requires employees to be trained before using fall protection systems and retrained when there are changes in equipment, jobsite conditions, or if an employee demonstrates a lack of understanding. We also recommend refresher training every 2–3 years to maintain competency.
Each session requires a minimum of 4 participants and is limited to 12 participants maximum. This ensures classes are interactive while allowing for individual attention and hands-on evaluations.
